After my motor blew up the last time i raced me and the people at Melton Motorsports purchased a new race car to finish out the 2011 season and to rebuild for high dollar money races in the season 2012. I practiced the car and got it dialed in for the the race that weekend.
Got to the race track and during practice the car was perfect. After words the time rolled around for the heat race and the air temp. cooled off so the set up on the car went away. The Melton Motorsports racing team put alot of effort in a short amount of time to get the car right. When the time for the main event raced rolled around i started fourth and the car set up was great, then after 5 laps of good hard racing, i came into turn one again and i heard the sound of the rods goin through the oil pan. She Blew Up. 2 in a row.

bad luck
Bad luck struck me the other night while i was in racing action at kentucky motor speedway. My motor blew up after 2 and a half years of hard racing. That night was the best my car had ever run at kentucky motor speedway. It was hooking up through the corners perfect, and the motor was running strong down the straight aways.
i started fourth on the outside second run. Going down the back stretch i passed for third place. After i races hard for 5 laps i was about to pass for the second position. Coming into turn one my motor was running 7,000 rpm and then the worst happened. The loud explosion of the rods shooting through the oil pan, and the hot water sprinkling on the windshield. She blew up.
